The inaugural ceremony of two days-long (First phase) Training workshop on "Teaching, Learning, Assessment and Curriculum Design'' held on May 23, 2013 at 09:00 a.m. at the Departmental Seminar Room of Mechanical Engineering (ME) of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET). The Training workshop is a part of sub-project activities entitled `Desing & Implementation of Self-Assessment Execise for Mechanical Engineering Program’. The sub-project is a part of Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP) of University Grants Commission (UGC) in KUET funded by World Bank Vice-Chancellor of KUET Professor Dr. Muhammed Alamgir was present as the Chief Guest and Prof. Dr. A.N.M. Mizanur Rahman, Dean, Faculty of ME, Prof. Dr. Md. Mashud, Head, Department of Me were also present as Special Guests. Prof. Dr. Md. Kutub Uddin, Sub-Project Manager, HEQEP presided over the ceremony. Among others The faculty members of different departments of KUET were present in the two days-long Training workshop. The resource persons were from IER (Institute of Education Research), Dhaka University. The chief guest said that the teaching activities of the university would be made easier and better through this workshop. The subject matters discussed in the workshop are learning & teaching styles, bloom’s taxonomy of learning, different teaching methods, effective communication in teaching learning, and different motivational approaches in learning. On May, 24 at 5:00 p.m. Concluding Session of the workshop was held successfully at the ME Seminar Room.
